New colours for the Navajo: another Lopi in purple and dusky pink for the central double-triangles.

Crochet comes to stay. At last.

A Navajo blanky I'm having a go at now.

I know I'm asking for trouble...the blue is a Debs Bliss, the natural is Lopi and the green is by Jarol. Blue requiring a 6mm hook and the natural and green a 5mm. Sewing up will be interesting!

As many as can be made have been made from the blue and natural. Just green left to complete. Although I'm following a pattern, the triangles are not as 'squat' as the pattern displays. Triangle fit together no matter what, though (this is my hope).

One of the most exciting things that can ever happen to me these days is to find some exciting new yarn. In this case though, it came from Santa...courtesy of Skip. Did a bit of moss stitch just to see what it can do. Must stop staring at the stuff now and get ready for the Spanish film on telly in 15.

really really nice stitch to do

a tea drinker first, a rum drinker second; this is my first tea-cosie...mum will get one too, after i've found the right teapot. Teapots, like tea and how we take it, is very subjective.
Afghan crochet hook. Want one.

ithe most splendid Haberdashery i've ever been to...La Droguerie, Paris.
No idea who he is. Turns up in a few of my photos though.

Should I be blogging on the eve of Christmas?

Here goes! Another blog page for me to get stuck into, but this one will be dedicated generally, to what I knit. Maybe the odd sketch here and there.
